DIANA HELLER is a Blue Badge* guide licensed by the London Institute of Tourist Guiding to guide throughout London and in its major tourist sites and also at places within a day's journey from London, such as Stonehenge, Bath, Windsor, Stratford and Canterbury.

This qualification follows a year's study of the history, architecture, politics, law, religion, literature and many other aspects of London. Great emphasis was given during this course of study to on-site training at various important locations in London and very extensive training for bus tours covering the length and breadth of London. A high degree of accuracy in knowledge, as well as skills in presentation was necessary to pass each of the seven written and practical examinations required to gain accreditation. Ms. Heller is a Londoner with a BA in history and art history and a graduate degree in law. For the past twenty-three years she has lived in a loft in Lower Manhattan, where she works as a criminal defence lawyer. She is also a member of the bar of England and Wales. She maintains her interest in art and architecture by membership in arts related organizations and frequent visits to museums and galleries.

After thirty thirty-eight years of living and raising a family in New York, working as an advocate in the courts of New York engaging in public life and traveling extensively in the United States, Ms. Heller has acquired a first hand knowledge of America in general and New York in particular. Her broad perception of the interests and attitudes of American clients enables her to present to them the life and history of London from a unique perspective and to create the links between the cultures of the countries which will greatly enhance the experience of every member of each tour group
